Tillandsia purpurea is a diverse species. Its South American range is vast and through its range, the plants vary in form and size. Tillandsia purpurea #8 is a smaller, compact form of purpurea. It’s very prolific and its flowers are very fragrant, just like all purpurea forms. It’s fun to grow.
