Product Description

Tillandsia chusgonensis is a small, slow-growing air plant native to Peru:

Size:
Relatively small, typically reaching around 1.5-2.5 inches in height and or width.
Leaves: Densely covered in fuzzy white trichomes (tiny hairs) that give it a silvery-white appearance. Leaves are narrow and tightly packed.
Inflorescence: Produces a short, simple pink inflorescence with small, white flowers that have a lilac base.

Growth Habits:
Slow-growing: May take some time to increase in size.
Prolific: Known to produce numerous “pups” (offshoots) over time, eventually forming a dense clump.

Care:
Light: Requires bright, indirect light or partial direct light during less intense time periods.
Watering: Best to water by soaking or misting thoroughly twice a week, allowing to dry completely within 6-8 hours.
Ventilation: Good air circulation is essential.

Key Characteristics:
Distinctive appearance: The dense covering of white trichomes sets it apart.
Slow growth: Requires patience for significant size increases.
Prolific pup production: Can form attractive clumps over time.
Note: Tillandsia chusgonensis is a relatively rare species in cultivation.
