Myotonic Goat (Fainting Goat) Weanling Males for Sale $250 to $400
Product Description
Four high-quality myotonic (“fainting”) goat bucklings born in late March 2025 are available for purchase now for between $250 and $400 each ($100 each to hold) and for pickup starting in early July after they’re weaned. Their dams and sire are registered 100% myotonic goats that descend from high-quality Onion Creek Ranch, Bending Tree Ranch, Jamcin Ranch, Lookout Mountain Growers, and other foundational bloodlines that consistently yield well-muscled, healthy goats with good conformation. We’ll provide genealogy upon request and with sale. Left intact, these friendly, confident boys are excellent for starting or improving your herd, regardless of breed. All are also eligible for registration with the Myotonic Goat Registry. As wethers, they make great pets and livestock companions. These boys currently live on good pasture with their mothers, a herd of other goats, and a horse. Myotonics are moderately sized, sweet, gentle, don’t jump or climb fences, are good mothers, and are more resistant to worms than Boers. Myotonics are excellent meat goats with their thick muscling (17% more meat to bone ratio than Boers due to their muscle stiffening). Many folks say myotonics are the best breed of meat goat.
