Tillandsia Silver King (zacapanensis x jalisco-monticola)

Product Description

Tillandsia silver king is a hybrid we created back in 2017-2018 and we are just starting to release a few. It can reach 48″ wide but is commonly ~36″ when it blooms. The thick strap like leaves feel rubbery to the touch. In full sun the plant tends to blush maroon. The inflorescence is up to 18″ tall with 10-12 frosted, ascending spikes of golden-light green, red-edged bracts; bearing tubular violet-petalled flowers.

This plant is quite easy to grow and is very hardy. The plants we are offering are very well started and are ~ 12-15″ wide.
