Tillandsia purpurea is a diverse species. It’s South American range is vast and through its range, the plants vary in form and size. Tillandsia purpurea # 16 is a smaller form of purpurea with thinner leaves. Its very prolific and its flowers are very fragrant, just like all purpurea forms. It’s fun to grow. The size of plant you will receive will be similar to the pictures you see.
