Tillandsia tectorum x plumosa is a hybrid air plant that combines the unique characteristics of Tillandsia tectorum and Tillandsia plumosa.  

Tillandsia tectorum is known for its fuzzy, white leaves that give it a snowball-like appearance. It is native to the arid regions of Ecuador and Peru and is adapted to bright sunlight and low water conditions.  
Tillandsia plumosa is native to Mexico and has a similar appearance to T. tectorum, with long, white trichomes (the fuzzy hairs on the leaves). However, it is typically smaller in size and more gray than white.  
As a hybrid, Tillandsia tectorum x plumosa likely exhibits a combination of these traits but takes more of the white appearance of the tectorum. It may have the fuzzy, white leaves of T. tectorum but in a smaller size, perhaps more similar to T. plumosa.
