One pound of Certified Naturall Grown Shallots, for eating or planting.
These are probably either Dutch Gold or Dutch Red shallots which I planted, among other varieties, several years ago. Those that did best I continued to propagate.
Product Description
You plant these in the fall, like garlic, with 12” spacing. Harvest in summer when the tops start to die back and you can see the bulbs pushing out of the ground. One planted bulbs will usually yield about 5-15x what you planted. Hang to cure in an airy location out of direct sunlight. They will store 9-15 months in a cool environment. Save the best ones for replanting these following fall.
