Eggs from our pastured layers, on organically managed pastures, fed organic feed. Per KY state law, eggs for consumption must be sold washed, so we wash our eggs, however we are able to sell these same eggs, unwashed for hatching purposes if our customers prefer them.
Product Description
Our flock of laying hens travels around our farm in a mobile chicken coop, following our flock of rotationally grazed katahdin sheep. This ensures that the chickens are spreading out their impact upon a larger area, and keeps them eating fresh grass, seeds, and bugs. Our chickens are truly free ranged and are not contained by fencing. This allows them to engage in chicken shenanigans to their hearts’ content.
