PRICING INFORMATION (updated October 2024)

• $5/lb on hanging weight (HW*) for your side of beef.
• A side of beef generally weighs 300-400 lbs.
• $1,500 approximate total for a side of beef (based on 300 lb HW side of beef).
• $345 approximate total for processing ($1.15/lb on HW for cut, wrap & freeze, based on 300 lb HW beef).
• $1,845 approximate grand total for beef & processing on a 300 lb HW side of beef.

MEAT CUTTING

If you’d like us to facilitate having your beef cut there will be a $1.15/lb on HW cut fee. We will send you a cut sheet with standard cut choices selected. The cut sheet is editable and you may:

1. make edits to the cut sheet and send it back to us.
2. reply by email or phone for us to make your desired edits for you.
3. approve the cut sheet as is.

We have 50 lb, 100 lb boxes, and whole beef options available in other listings.

*Hanging weight (HW) is the post-slaughter weight of the animal. You will notice a difference between the hanging weight you pay for and the actual weight of meat you receive. This difference depends on what you choose as far as boneless cuts, marrow bones, organ meat, fat, and trim. 

**Typically 60-70% of the hanging weight is recieved by the customer
