Product Description
This recipe came from my adoration for bacon jam! We first experienced it at a gourmet burger joint, and I’ve been in love since. Then, we would visit wineries that would offer charcuterie boards with different jam… and it was delicious! So, I had to combine the two for our pups!
The fig jam is slow cooked and boosted with a little molasses, then uncured reduced sodium bacon is added to the mix. I then add duck eggs and my main biscuit base, and they came out great!
These were a seasonal treat, but they’re so well loved that we made them year round!
I highly recommend keeping these treats in your freezer or fridge, as they don’t have any preservatives besides vitamin E. Freezer storage will hold them for roughly 6 months, although your doggy won’t want you to wait that long!
Ingredients: flour, duck eggs, figs, apple, bacon, molasses, vitamin E oil
